Almighty everlasting God, be pleased to bless and to hallow this vessel made to burn incense to the honour and glory of your name, to beautify the worship given to you, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. May all who in this life adore your only-begotten Word possess Him in the life to come as their everlasting recompense; through Christ our Lord.
We also remember and give thanks for the soul of David Alexander Clover in whose memory it is given.
V. Rest eternal grant unto him, O Lord
R. and let light perpetual shine upon him.
V. We beseech thee, O Lord, pour thy grace into
our hearts, that as we have known the incarnation
of thy Son Jesus Christ by the message of an angel,
so by his cross + and passion we may be brought unto
the glory of his resurrection; through the same
Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with
thee and the Holy Spirit, one God now and forever.
